Jacqueline Fernandez replaces Parineeti Chopra in 'Jugalbandi'

Mumbai: After Salman Khan revealed at an event that Jacqueline wouldn’t be a part of the ‘Kick’ sequel, rumours were rife that the duo may have had a tiff. However the actors laid rumours to rest when they were seen having a good time at Baba Siddiqui’s iftar party recently.

According to reports Salman has offered the actress a role in his next production ‘Jugalbandi’ opposite Saif Ali Khan. The film was initially said to have Parineeti Chopra as the lead.

Salman though Jacky fit the bill and decided to offer her the role. Jacqueline reportedly loved the script and could not turn down the offer from her dear friend Sallu. This comes as bad news to Parineeti, who hasn’t signed any films after her film ‘Kill Dil’ failed to make an impression at the box office.

If rumours are to be believed Prineeti may be a part of YRF’s ‘Sultan’ opposite Salman Khan. The film was initially offered to Priyanka Chopra, but we hear the actress put in a good word for her sister. Pari is now being considered for the role opposite Salman Khan in ‘Sultan’.

Jacqueline has a number of projects lined up this year including Brothers, Dishoom, Flying Jat, and Housefull 3. If the actress has available dates, ‘Jugalbandi’ will most likely go on floors by the end of this year.
