The driver and a passenger K. Ramesh Babu, 60, of Ongole died on the spot

Guntur: Two people were killed on the spot and another was severely injured when a car in which they were travelling fell off a bridge at Dachepalli in Guntur district on Wednesday.
According to the Dachepalli police, the car was going to Hyderabad from Ongole in the early hours on Wednesday.
Driver K. Naresh, 31, of Ongole fell asleep on the wheels and the car veered off the bridge at Pondugala village of Dachepalli mandal. The driver and a passenger K. Ramesh Babu, 60, of Ongole died on the spot.
While another passenger Ch. Narayana Reddy of Ongole was injured and admitted to Gurajala government hospital for treatment. The Dachepalli police started investigation in-to the incident by registering a case.
