Hema Malini blames girl’s father for car accident on Jaipur Highway

Jaipur: BJP MP actor Hema Malini, who recently met with an accident in which a four-year-old girl was killed, accused the girl’s father of driving rashly on Wednesday.

The comments come a few days after the actor had expressed sorrow and vowed to provide financial help to the family of Sonam Khandelwal, the four-year-old girl who was killed when her car and the vehicle in which the girl had been travelling collided In a series of tweets on Wednesday, the actress also lashed out at the media for being sensation-hungry. The girl’s family, meanwhile, reacted strongly to her charges.

A week after the accident, Hema Malini first tweeted that she felt sorry for the girl, who unnecessarily lost her life, and her family members who were injured in the accident. However, in the second tweet, which was trending throughout Wednesday, she said” “How I wish the girl’s father had followed traffic rules-then (sic) this accident could have been averted and the little one’s life safe!”

She also attacked the media, saying, “As for the sensation-hungry media and a few members of the public who had a field day maligning me even when I was helpless and in deep trauma ... who actually and unbelievably stooped to the lowest levels of human decency, I can only say shame on you and god bless!”.
