Jayalalithaa exhorts cadres to get poll-ready
Chennai: Sounding the poll bugle well ahead of her archrivals, AIADMK leader and Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Tuesday asked her party cadres to embark on a three-day propaganda blitzkrieg to highlight the achievements of their party’s regime in the last four years in Tamil Nadu.

The district secretaries should ensure that grass root level meetings are held for three consecutive days ending July 12.
She said campaign posters explaining the successful schemes of the state should also be put up and also asked party functionaries to celebrate the grand victory of R K Nagar by poll and take forward the result as a prelude to the next assembly election scheduled for May 2016.
The statement also listed out achievements like the launch of the Chennai Metro Rail service, the private power purchase agreement for about 3,300 mega watt, Amma canteens, Amma cement, Amma salt, Amma drinking water and distribution of free milch cows and construction of green houses for farmers as populist schemes that can be used for campaign purposes.
Meanwhile Lok sabha deputy speaker and AIADMK party propaganda secretary M.
