Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau transcribed 32 calls

Sandra went to the residence of AP CM Naidu from where he went to NTR Bhavan

Hyderabad: The ACB said TDP MLA Mr Sandra Veeraiah made 18 calls to TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy, on one number and two more calls on another number from May 24 to May 31. Around 32 phone calls were transcribed between Mr Veeraiah and Bishop Harry Sebastian from May 27 to 31.

Around 23 call recordings, which took place between Bishop Sebastian and Mr Veeraiah from May 23 to May 31, were analysed. The ACB had also tapped the phone of Bishop Sebastian. As per one of the conversations, Bishop Sebastian told Mr Veeraiah that he had put forth four proposals before Mr Stephenson. These were: one of his relatives would be made the Anglo Indian MLA in Andhra; giving him a decent post at the Centre in the minority commission as the BJP is a coalition partner; any works or contracts in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

He was also promised that the TDP would come to power in Telangana in the next elections and he would be made the Anglo Indian MLA. Bishop Sebastian told Mr Veeraiah that he had informed Mr Stephenson that he had access to “Babu” and that he would talk to him directly. Mr T. Lachu, a gunman of Mr Veeraiah told ACB: “On May 30 at around 9 am Sandra went to the residence of AP CM Naidu from where he went to NTR Bhavan at 2 pm.

He went to the Lake View Guest House at 6 pm where all MLAs and important leaders including Vem Narendar Reddy, the MLC candidate, were present. On May 31 around 5.30, while going to the AP CM’s residence, I overheard him getting a call and he found fault with Revanth Reddy in proceeding directly to the MLA Elvis Stephenson.”

Mr B. Ravi, another gunman of Mr Veeraiah, in his statement to the ACB said: "On May 27-28 Sandra attended Mahanadu and till 29th he stayed in Golconda Resorts." ACB said that as per the FLS report, there were three SMS communications between Bishop Sebastian and Mr Sandra Veeraiah from May 27 to May 30.
On May 27, Bishop Sebastian had sent an SMS to the MLA's number: "MLA Garu, this is Bishop Sebastian, TD Christian cell, Please call me regarding Anglo Indian MLA."

On May 28, another text message sent by Bishop Sebastian to Mr Veeraiah read: "MLA Garu lobbying for Anglo India MLA is 50 per cent ok. Call back when you are free." On May 30 Bishop Sebastian sent his new number to Mr Veeraiah. ACB has informed the court that preparation of 20 more transcripts is under process.
Another witness, Mr Selvanathan Anthony, said he had known Mr Elvis Stephenson for several years and he had introduced Bishop Sebastian to him in the last week of May.
