New Delhi: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, often described as the “chawalwale baba” due to his “super-efficient” PDS system, is reportedly in constant touch with the top BJP leadership as the opposition in the state is breathing down his neck over the Rs 36,000-crore rice scam. The Congress has accused the Chief Minister and his wife of being involved in the scam and alleged it “would go up to Rs 1.5 lakh crore”.
