BENGALURU: The Lokayukta police have written to the Registrar seeking clarification from the High Court on who can register cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act under the present court stay and the setting up of the SIT to probe the scam within Lokayukta.
“We will move the High Court for direction on whether the Lokayukta police can register cases under the PCA in view of the stay and the SIT or will the SIT register and investigate them,” said a Lokayukta official.
