The incident took place in Versova on Monday night
Mumbai: Soni Singh, who is a popular face of television, was ex-boyfriend reportedly assaulted the actress on Monday night in Versova Mumbai. The actress shot to fame with serials like Saraswatichandra and Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan.
As per an eyewitness' account, she was dragged inside a car by the man and slapped. Her friends tried to help her but couldn't as she herself asked them not to intervene.
Someone called the police and Soni along with her ex and other friends were taken to the police station. A complaint has been filed thereafter.
The actress was Upen Patel’s close friend on the popular reality show.
