Not only has Salman Khan designed the first look poster for Sooraj Pancholi’s Hero, the superstar has also personally cut the film’s first trailer with director Nikhil Advani. Says a source close to the project, “Salman has worked on the first trailer with Nikhil. It will be released on July 15 and then shown in theatres across the country on July 16.”
Salman asked Sooraj to dub specially for the trailer. “There were portions in the trailer which are not part of the feature film. For example, the shot of Sooraj’s back on the screen was initially supposed to be without dialogue. But Salman insisted there should be a monologue,” the source said
What’s more, Salman has chalked out a marketing plan for Sooraj and his leading lady Aathiya Shetty, including multi-city tours. “Nothing about the publicity of Hero will be done without Salman’s consent. Once his next Bajrangi Bhaijaan is released, he will be pitching in fully to promote Hero,” says a source close to the project.
