Practo, doctor discovery platform expanded its offering beyond doctor search to enable consumers to find the closest diagnostic center for the tests they want. The launch is part of Practo’s strategy to become the single health destination for all consumers across curative, preventive, fitness and wellness segments.
Users can search on Practo and check the quality of the lab by reading through the accreditation information, see real high quality photographs and filter results by proximity, home pickup facility as well as price. Consumers can also filter to see which labs offer a digital report and in the near future, Practo will enable consumers to get their reports in the Practo app automatically instead of having to collect it from the center or get it via email.
At launch, Practo has nearly 4,000 labs across the 8 cities including the largest chains such as Thyrocare, Suburban Diagnostics, SRL Labs, Metropolis and others. Commenting on the association, Dr. Caesar Sengupta, General Manager – Operations, Thyrocare said, “Today, preventive care and diagnostic service play a very crucial role in leading a healthy lifestyle. The new product will be available in 8 cities to begin with and will then expand to 35 cities in India and Practo’s international markets in the coming months. The 8 cities of launch are Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik and Trivandrum.
