Panasonic India today added a new smartphone to its Eluga series - The Eluga Z; a Metal Blade Design smartphone with a 5-inch Oncell HD AMOLED octa-core processor. The ELUGA Z smartphone’s Octa core processing capabilities are backed by 2GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory for accommodating heavy applications & media. The smartphone has been custom-designed to meet the needs and requirements of the consumers by providing connectivity with a pen-drive and Indian regional language support.
The Software capabilities in the new device features a single-hand operative & stylish FitHome interface along with various gesture based functions like Double Tap to Lock/Unlock, Smart Swipe functionality where in a combination of number of fingers & direction of swipe can help user perform various predefined functions providing ease of access. In addition, the smartphone comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capabilities. The 5 MP front camera adds a face to all video chats and 3G video calling. On Battery capacity, with a 2050mAh Lithium Polymer unit one gets a faster & safe charging along with longer battery durability.

The HD AMOLED Display presents crystal clear color representation without saturation and the Oncell capacitive touch technology gives smooth operating experience. Featuring 1.4GHz True octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, the ELUGA Z performs better at multi-tasking and carrying out intensive processing than its peers. One can run multiple applications and switch amongst them effortlessly without any runtime lag or performance dip.
Eluga Z is designed keeping in mind Indian Customers, where Indian Regional Languages support for diverse Indian customers, USB OTG Support for accessing media through Pen-drive or Hard-Drive, Turn-by-turn Navigation for location access, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 4.0 EDR for sharing media with friends.
Panasonic Eluga Z is priced at Rs 13,490 for the Indian market.
