Hyderabad: A 33-year-old woman, who visited Gandhi Hospital pretending to be a doctor to impress her boyfriend, was arrested by the police. M. Shivani, a resident of Karmanghat, had been entering the hospital wearing a doctor’s uniform.
Following a complaint from the hospital superintendent, the police booked a case against her for cheating. She was caught on Monday when guards stopped her. Cops said that she wanted to convince her boyfriend that she had a job in Gandhi Hospital.
“She told her boyfriend Akhil that she had been appointed in Gandhi Hospital.
She used to call him to the hospital and have tea at the canteen. She will hang around at the hospital till he leaves,” said SI G. Balakrishna.Shivani, whose husband died one and a half years ago, had been living alone. She had met Akhil, a vendor, a few months ago and started a relationship.
