Just because a film is made with a huge budget and goes on to be a big hit, the hero does not become number one in the industry. “No one becomes number one with just one film and its collections. It’s a long journey and it’s completely different. I never thought that I would become number one with Baahubali,” says Prabhas. He adds that everyone should feel proud that this is a Telugu film that is going global.
Talking about his cameo in the Hindi film Action Jackson, he says that he accepted it because of Prabhu Deva.
“Prabhu master is very close to me and one day, he asked me to do a cameo in the film. I discussed it with Rajamouli and agreed to do it as we thought that it would be a help for Baahubali too. But I wanted to run away from the sets of the Hindi film as the atmosphere was completely different and did not suit me. I asked Prabhu master if it was necessary for me to do it. He said it was and we completed it in three hours,” says Prabhas.
The actor adds that he has got a few offers from Bollywood, but he is not interested. “But I will do a Tamil film in the future. I was born in Chennai and I know Tamil, so will I do a Tamil-Telugu bilingual,” Prabhas says.
