TJ Chandrachoodan flays CPM’s functioning
KOLLAM: The Central Government is trying to alter the history of India by misusing government systems and the atrocities on the minorities are proof, said RSP State Secretary T. J. Chandrachoodan. He also snubbed the LDF saying they could not continue to “dupe or threaten people all the time.”
The Secretary was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the representative meeting as part of RSP’s district conference here on Sunday.
Justifying the crossover of RSP once again, Mr. Chandrachoodan termed it as “the creation of circumstances”.The RSP was not focussing on seats but following its ideological stances, he pointed out.
He also said corruption was ruling every area of the system and the leadership should be capable enough to prevent it. The Congress party was not strong enough to fight corruption that rules the Centre, he added.
“The BJP Government is trying to Hindu-fy the country and communalism is flourishing. The country is ruled by multinational monopolies and the people are turning subservient to them,” Mr. Chandrachoodan alleged.
On Aruvikkara elections, the RSP put the blame on the working style of the CPM for its defeat.
“The people of Aruvikkara have taught them as to who tainted our democracy. It is a lesson. The CPM has not yet learned the issues of the people.” Mr. Chandrachoodan said.
As many as 693 representatives from 12 divisions in the district took part in the meeting. Ex-MLA Thyagarajan hoisted the flag as part of the conference presided over by MLA A.A. Azeez. The meeting on the working report will be held on Monday.
