Ooty: Defence services staff college (DSSC) at Wellington has received ISO certifications the for highest professional standards and also for outstanding administrative standards and ecologically sustainable practices within its campus.
DSSC has always maintained exemplary standards in training blended with the very best traditions of the Armed Forces, an official press release said. The ISO 9001:2008 certification awarded to DSSC has been in recognition of its professional standards in quality, the release added.
DSSC also received the ISO 14001:2004 certification for adopting and maintaining outstanding administrative standards and also achieving ecologically sustainable practices within the Wellington campus.
“We have further enhanced the cause of this premier institution and this is a historic moment of great pride and honour for the Indian Armed Forces. We are determined to move ever onward with our prescient outlook, accentuating higher levels of excellence and pristine glory,” the release said quoting Lt Gen S.K. Gadeock, Commandant, DSSC.
