V Hanumantha Rao removes defectors’ pictures

Dr K. Kesava Rao had defected to the TRS before the elections
Hyderabad: Former PCC president V. Hanumantha Rao on Saturday removed the pictures of three leaders who have left the party from Gandhi Bhavan. Mr D. Srinivas had quit the Congress earlier this week while Mr Botsa Satyanarayana had joined the YSRC in Andhra Pradesh last month. Dr K. Kesava Rao had defected to the TRS before the elections.
Mr Rao, along with former minister R. Damodar Reddy, removed the pictures from the conference hall and threw them on the floor.
Later, he accused Mr Srinivas of “selling” ‘B’ forms that are given to nominees by the high command. “The Congress did so much for Srinivas. His quitting the party will not have any impact,” Mr Rao said.
He alleged that Mr Srinivas had never encouraged any BC leader in the Congress.
