Kaleshwaram project to be launched soon: KCR
Mr Rao announced Rs 10 lakh to each village of the constituency and Rs 1 crore to Husnabad town
Karimnagar: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that a major project would be launched near Kaleshwaram village in Mahadevapur mandal soon to provide drinking and irrigation water to north Telangana. He was speaking at a public meeting held in Husnabad, while taking part in Telangana ku Harita Haaram programme on Saturday.
Mr Rao said that he would present a golden crown to Sri Kaleshwara-Muktheshwara Swamy, presiding deity of temple in Kaleshwaram and inaugurate the project soon. North Telangana would benefit from the project and the farmers of Karimnagar district would be able to produce two crops per season with ample water from it, Mr Rao added.
Mr Rao announced Rs 10 lakh to each village of the constituency and Rs 1 crore to Husnabad town. He directed the district administration to take up plantation drive in the town and assured that he would take part in it.
