Hyderabad: The Nalgonda police on Saturday raided a house in Vemulapally and arrested six persons for allegedly playing cards. Police seized Rs 50,000 in cash, six mobiles and three bikes from them.
The police said that K. Srinivas and five others were playing cards in a house near the bus stand in Vemulapally village. All the accused are residents of Miryalagula and run petty businesses. During investigation, we found Seenu, a gambler from Nalgonda was behind the gang. He operates the gang from Nalgonda and pays them commission, said Vemulapally sub-inspector.
Police has registered a case under Section 3 and 4 of the AP Gaming Act and launched a hunt to nab Seenu.
