Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput wedding has been the talk of the town ever since the news spilled out. The actor and his family have surprisingly refrained to comment over the whole affair. This has led to many speculations about the venue, functions and the guest list. The couple are apparently not getting married in New Delhi but in Amritsar, Punjab.

As the two families are ardent followers of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, the wedding will also happen at Beas in Amritsar with their guruji's blessings. The wedding will be an intimate affair with about 40 people in attendance. It will be attended by some of the biggest names in the industry including Vishal Bhardwaj, Madhu Mantena, Vikas Bahl to name a few. The wedding will be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on July 12.
Shahid and Mira met through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Rumour has it that couple got engaged on January 14, Makar Sankranti. It was initially stated that the couple was to tie the knot in June, however that turned out to be false.
