SIAA Case: Actor Vishal files Caveat in Madras High Court
Petiton was filed after office bearers proposed to file an appeal against recent High court
Chennai: Actors Vishal and Poochi Murugan have filed a caveat petition before the Madras High court praying it not to pass orders without hearing them in connection with conduct of the election to the South Indian Artistes Association (SIAA).
They have filed the petition before the court after the office bearers proposed to file an appeal against recent High court order staying election to office bearers of the SIAA, (Nadigar Sangam) on July 15. Last week, Justice K. Ravichandrabaabu passed the order on suits filed by actors Vishal, Nasser, Si. Karthi and Poochi Murugan.
In the original petitions, the petitioners sought to declare the election notification as null and void and to appoint an election officer to conduct the election.
