Guntur: The Lingamaneni guest on the banks of Krishna river on the Karakatta road seems to be finalised as the guest house for AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Mr Naidu is going to work from the CM’s camp office at Vijayawada for three to four days in a week. Hence, the officials are searching for a suitable guest house for Mr Naidu’s stay. Earlier, the officials including, ministers P. Narayana and P. Pulla Rao inspected various buildings on the Karakatta road and favoured Lingamaneni guest house according to Vastu.
The district officials on Friday inspected the Lingamaneni guest house. The Transco, revenue, R & B and other departments inspected the undergoing renovation works of the guest house.
District collector Kantilal Dande, Transco superintending engineer S. Jayabharat Rao, Guntur Zilla Parishad chief executive officer B. Subba Rao, officials of RWS, R & B and others inspected the guest house. Interestingly, Vastu advisor to the Chief Minister Mr M. Raghavaiah also inspected the guest house with the officials and gave suggestions.
According to the sources, Mr Raghavaiah suggested about setting up two separate entrances. He also suggested about leaving place empty on the north-eastern side and further suggested some changes in the bedroom and hall. He suggested keeping east-facing of the main building without changes.
The Transco officials have sought 1000 yards of land to set up separate transformers to supply continuous electricity to the CM’s guest house. The officials of the CM’s security wing have sought removal of huts adjacent to the guest house and further ground clearance in the opposite farmlands in view of CM’s security. The R & B department officials sought switching of Karakatta road into a double lane with a ring and further another road to Undavalli centre from the guest house.
Mr Dande directed all departments to submit detailed reports about developing the ghat road and the guest house in two days.
