Pervez and one of the suspects named Mahender were earlier convicted in a murder case
Hyderabad: A man was seriously injured in a drunken fight between friends in the Nacharam area on Thursday night. Five youths, Mohammed Pervez, Mahender, Shiva, Poshetty and Ramu gathered near the Hindu graveyard in Errakunta to consume alcohol.
After, they became heavily drunk, Pervez asked money to buy more alcohol. This led to an argument and his friends attacked him with a knife. Pervez is undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital while the suspects are absconding.
Police said Pervez is an autorickshaw driver and the suspects work for a local band. Pervez and one of the suspects named Mahender were earlier convicted in a murder case and were also involved in petty cases in Nacharam and Kushaiguda.
On Thursday night, they were having alcohol at the Hindu graveyard. Pervez wanted to have more but his friends denied and this led to an argument. “He was stabbed on his right hand and right shoulder.
