Watch: MS Dhoni tries cricket's highly-discussed pink ball innovation
Mumbai: The Indian cricket team is unlikely to play a Day-Night Test anytime soon. However, India’s World Cup winning skipper MS Dhoni was seen trying the pink ball which will be used for the Australia vs New Zealand’s Test under the lights.
Cricket Australia on Thursday released a video of MS Dhoni trying his hand at the pink ball. Channel Nine, official broadcaster for Cricket Australia, had held a trial with pink balls in January 2015.

MS Dhoni had announced his retirement from Test cricket by then. But he tested the pink ball nonetheless.

Although Dhoni's views on the performance of the pink ball are not yet known, Team India's ODI and T20 captain seemed to have a ball trying out one of the highly-discussed innovations in the game.
