After a video showing DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin as allegedly slapping a fellow passenger on board a metro train went viral online, 25-year-old Karthik Rajendran of Maduvankarai denied being slapped by Stalin.

Karthik Rajendran, whose name has been trending in many WhatsApp groups told mediapersons, that Stalin did not slap him. “I was standing very close to him (Stalin). It normally happens in a public transport when you stand too close to people. He just waved his hand and showed the direction. His hand touched me. He did not intend to hit me. It happened unintentionally,” Karthik told mediapersons.
