JEE main results: Top ranks elude Karnataka students
BENGALURU: This year's JEE main results has come as a disappointment to state students, as none of them could make it to the top 200 rank. After much delay the CBSE had announced JEE main results on Tuesday late evening, but due to technical glitches the city students could access their rank details only by Wednesday morning.
Deeksha network student Devansh Sharma, who secured all India rank 286 in B.Tech category, attributed his success to consistent practice and hard work. "I am happy about the rank and thanks to all my teachers who trained me," he said. Devansh said he would opt for IIT as he had got a better rank in JEE Advanced. He plans to pursue Computer Science at IIT Mumbai. "But in case if I don't get it, I would go with Electronics or Mechanical," he said.
BASE student Kaushik Bhat have secured all India rank of 281, while another student Suhag has scored all India rank of 25 in ST category. Another student of Deeksha, Anusha Kamath secured an all India rank 386 in B.Tech category. "Staying calm and ensuring you give the best is the key for cracking any exam. I am really happy and elated as I did not expect this rank."
She wishes to pursue Chemical Engineering. Anusha said, "I have chosen NIT Suratkal over other colleges as I am very sure I will get a seat there." She claimed she had taken risks in cracking all exams.
"The only thing that remained constant was the support from my teachers for which I would like to thank them wholeheartedly," she added.
