No lift at MNJ Cancer Hospital

The ward boys are then asked to take them up the gang way in wheel-chairs
Hyderabad: Patients who come for chemotherapy and post-operative treatment to the MNJ Cancer Hospital are facing hardships as the lift is out of order. Dr Sai Ram, senior oncologist and president of the TS Doctors' Assoc-iation in MNJ, said, “Several complaints were made to the director of health and medical education, but in vain.
The repair has not been carried out and the patients have a lot of difficulty as they have to climb up the stairs.” It is particularly difficult for those patients who have to undergo chemotherapy as they get very tired. The ward boys are then asked to take them up the gang way in wheel-chairs.
Dr M. Ramani, director of health and medical education said, “We have asked the contractor to look into it and the problem will be rectified. The director of MNJ is also looking into the issue.”
