Hyderabad: A 71-year-old man was caught by the SHE team for eve teasing at Koti. The man was sitting in the bus station and harassing women passengers. The action of the man was recorded on camera by the SHE team.
Police said the man, Mohammad Sadiq Ali, a native of Armur mandal in Nizamabad district, was trying to touch women inappropriately and making unwarranted comments.
“The victims, who were sitting at the bus stop beside him became frightened and shifted to other places. This was videographed by the SHE team and the man was caught red handed. He was produced before the magistrate who sentenced him to jail for two days,” said a police official from the SHE team.
In the another case one B. Ramulu, 39, from Old Malakpet, was caught at Afzalgunj bus stop while he was stalking a lady. Cops said that he was trying to touch her since six months.
The victim called Dial 100. SHE teams reached there and arrested him. Two other people were also caught. In the third case, Mohammed Mohsin Ahmed, 25, was caught at the Mehdipatnam bus stop while harassing women, police said.
