MUMBAI: Individuals can now prepare their ‘Will’ online without going through various hassles as SBICAP Trustee Company Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SBI Cap on Wednesday launched MYWILL services online.
Individuals can get their ‘Will’ drafted online following six easy steps, which will cost just Rs 2,500. Once the final Will is prepared, it will be sent to the concerned person who can download it and keep it in safe custody.
Individuals will be given a 30-day period for making any modifications to the Will. Such modifications can be made free of charge while any changes made after the 30-day period would attract fresh charges.
“While making a normal Will, there are couple of issues. There is inconsistency in drafting. Then there is an issue of signature and attestation. Our online version will help an individual to reduce these kinds of issues,” said V. Muralidharan, CEO, SBICAP Trustee Company Ltd. He further added that the company will facilitate Will creation in the case of inter religious marriages without charging any hefty fees normally charged by lawyers.
