Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar releases merit list
First phase of admissions from July 1 to 4
Tirupati: Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar on Tuesday released the merit list of candidates who have applied for admissions in TTD colleges for the year 2015-16 on the official website www.admission.tirumala.org.
Later speaking to media persons in SP Rest House here, he said, the students can download their admission letter from the website by using their admission ID number.
Meanwhile, 6,930 students have applied online for admission into degree while 6,671 students for junior colleges. Among them, 4785 have submitted required attested copies and print in degree and 5,101 students for admission into junior colleges of TTD.
There will be admissions for the selected candidates from July 1 to 4 in the first phase from 10 am to 5 pm. For the girls seeking admission into degree college they have to be present at SPWDPG College and boys have to report at Sri Venkateswara Arts College and for those seeking admissions into Intermediate have to be present at SPW Junior college and boys at SV Junior College respectively in the stipulated time.
"For the students of special categories like NCC, sports quota, admissions will be conducted in the second phase from July 13 to 16," the JEO added. "On the other hand for the allotted 794 seats each (total 1588 seats) in Sri Padmavathi and Sri Venkateswara Junior Colleges, admissions will be conducted to 1,270 seats during first phase," he added.
The JEO said among the candidates who applied for admission into TTD degree colleges, 984 from MPC, 973 from BiPC and 968 from CEC remained highest. "Among the students seeking admissions into Inter college most of them procured 10 points in Tenth," he maintained. Later the JEO said the vacant posts of various faculties will be filled up in the next 15 days. He said the classes in TTD colleges will commence by July 15. Devasthanams educational officer Vijay Kumar, deputy executive officer Snehalatha, SPWDPG principal Gnana-kumari, and others were present.
