Revanth Reddy granted bail; relieved AP ministers distribute sweets

Many ministers criticised Telangana CM and his government’s “conspiracy” against TDP

Hyderabad: As the news of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, cash-for-vote scam accused, getting bail spread on Tuesday, celebrations erupted at the AP Secretariat.
Sweets were distributed at the offices of ministers Ravela Kishore Babu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Kamineni Srinivas.

Many ministers have criticised Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his government’s “conspiracy” against the TDP, saying that the cases would eventually peter out since the TRS doesn’t have any substantial proof.

“It’s our moral victory. We will ultimately come out clean. Courts have ruled long back that sting operations and fabricated voices cannot be evidences. The ACB may be Mr Rao’s tool, but in HC, we stand vindicated,” Mr Kishore Babu said.

Alleging that a conspiracy had been hatched by YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and Mr Rao to destabilise AP, Mr Ravela Babu came down heavily on the latter, questioning the need for MLA Stephenson to visit Mr Rao’s farmhouse repeatedly.

He added, “The Telangana CM is a despot and he has scant regard for Constitutional norms.”
