Prime Minister's Office is not for giving security clearance to Sun TV

New Delhi: Two powerful Union ministers have locked horns over security clearance for Sun TV, promoted by Tamil Nadu’s Maran brothers. The I&B ministry reportedly favours the channel, while the home ministry is against giving it security clearance due to the cases pending against the Marans. As the ministers and ministries lock horns over Sun TV, speculation is rife that even the Prime Minister's Office is not too keen on rushing through the clearance.
