Driver kills his wife over affair

Hyderabad: An autorickshaw driver allegedly slit his wife’s throat with a butcher’s knife in the Harsha Mahal area on Monday.

Police said that Mohammed Gouse, 30, and Fasia Begum has four children and that Gouse started suspecting that his wife was having an affair. Unable to bear Gouse’s harassment Fasia left for her parents’ house.

“On Monday Gouse called her home to give clothes of their children. When she came home he tied her to a cot and cut her throat. He called her sister and told that he had killed her and fled,” said inspector V. Umender. Police registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the killer.
