Anil invited Hansika and Jaya Prada to join him

The audio launch of Uyire Uyire got a Bollywood twist when Anil Kapoor broke into an impromptu jig with Hansika Motwani. The actor, who had been sitting quietly on stage, listening to speech after speech, suddenly decided that he had had enough. “Cinema is an entertaining medium. We actors are here to entertain. Come on, let’s dance and cheer the audiences,” he said and invited Hansika and Jaya Prada to join him.
Much to the delight of all present, Anil showed off some of his trademark steps and got Raadhika to join in. His timing was perfect, as the audiences had been getting restless as the function had stretched well beyond the stipulated time. It was a star studded affair at the audio launch of Jaya Prada’s maiden production venture Uyire Uyire which marks her nephew Siddhu’s debut as a hero. Directed by A. R. Rajasekar, the stage witnessed some of the biggies like Amar Singh, Anil Kapoor, Mohan Babu, T. Subbarami Reddy, Sripriya, Radhikaa , Sumalatha apart from the cast and crew of the film including Hansika. While Mohan Babu mesmerised the audience with his nostalgic speech, it was lyricist Viveka’s words which triggered off a debate of sorts.
He said, “I have penned all the songs in this film. While I sat for the pallavi for one of the numbers, director Rajasekar told me to keep Hansika in mind and so, I wrote a song describing Hansika’s beauty.” Also present at the do were actress Chaya Singh, Rajeev Kamineni and Rajkumar Sethupathi.
