Mumbai: The first official teaser of Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sultan’ created a lot of buzz on the internet. Even months before its release, there were numerous speculations and rumours surrounding which actress would play the actor’s leading lady in the film.
Initially Deepika Padukone was expected to share screen space with Salman for the first time. However those rumours turned out to be false. Then it was reported that Kangana Ranaut was offered a role in the film. However she opted out of the film.
After which Priyanka Chopra was rumoured to be playing Sallu’s leading lady in the sports film. According to reports, Priyanka who has worked with Salman in the past has no plans of reuniting with the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star.
According to a report in 9xe, instead the actress decided to put in a good word for her cousin sister Parineeti Chopra. After ‘Kill Dil’, Parineeti hasn’t signed any major films, and Priyanka’s small act of kindness may just help her revive her career.
Although no official announcement has been made yet, this pairing with Salman could give Parineeti a boost in the industry.
