TTD EO inspects floral plantation
This plantation programme commenced on June 12 this year
Tirupati: TTD executive officer, Dr D. Sambasiva Rao on Sunday inspected the plantation sites in Tirumala along with TTD garden and forest department heads. It may mentioned here that TTD has commenced the mammoth task of planting one lakh seasonal and annual plantations in all its gardens located at Tirumala in a span of three months to give a feel good look to the pilgrims who throng the hill town.
This plantation programme commenced on June 12 this year and the process is going on a war footing pace at GNC gardens, Gita Park, Government Farm etc. in Tirumala. On the other hand, the forest wing also commenced its plantation activity along the Outer Ring Road.
TTD EO inspected these sites and directed the heads of the departments of both the wings to see that the hill town appear as earthly heaven through this mega plantation programme and give an aesthetic feel to multitude of visiting pilgrims.
Later, he also inspected PAC II and interacted with the pilgrims about the available amenities. TTD chief engineer Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE Ramachandra Reddy, health officer Dr Sarmistha, garden deputy director Srinivasulu, DFO Sivaram Prasad and other officers were present.
