All set for Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Tirupati

TTD, Chittoor administration gear up to invite President
Tirupati: The TTD and Chittoor district administration have made elaborate arrangements for President Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Tirupati on July 1. According to official sources, the President will reach Tirupati by flight at 10 am on July 1. He will go to Tiruchan-oor and perform puja to Goddess Padmavathi. Later, he will go to Padmavathi Guest House for lunch.
He will Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala and perform puja to Lord Venkateswara. He will be back at 4 pm.
The TTD officials have already renovated the Padmavathi Guest House and decorated for President's stay. They purchased new furniture for the guest house. They have taken up repairs to the ghat road.
Dog squad and bomb detection squad have already pressed into service. The police have intensified combing operations on the ghat road. The police beefed up security at the Padmavathi Guest House. Chief secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao also reviewed arrangements for President's visit.
District collector Siddarth Jain and Tirupati urban district SP Gopinath Jetty on Sunday conducted a review with the district administration for President's Pran-ab Mukherjee's visit. They reviewed arrangements at the airport to welcome the President.
They met the Tirupati airport director V.V. Rao and reviewed arrangements in the airport to welcome the President. The TTD is also arrangements for President's visit.
The officials are expecting that Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will come to Tirupati to welcome the President. The officials reserved two VVIP suits in the guest house for them.
