Shillong: In a joint operation launched by the army and the Meghalaya Police, two Achik Matgrik Elite Force (AMEF) terrorists were killed on Sunday morning in the North Garo Hills district at the Assam-Meghalaya border.
According to reports, the security forces recovered two pistols, two fired cases and a bag from the killed terrorists.
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday congratulated the Army and the Meghalaya Police for successful ops in North Garo Hills
"Security forces must be complemented for every successful achievement," BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao told ANI.
