Hyderabad: Telangana transport minister P. Mahender Reddy on Saturday ordered officials to make helmets mandatory for two-wheeler riders and impose huge fines on violators.
He wanted officials to draw up and implement strict policies to minimise traffic accidents in Telangana. He also wanted traffic police stations along highways and ordered action against eateries selling liquor on highways.
