Chandrababu Naidu backs Governor rule over capital
The TD would not allow this, the CM added
Vijayawada : Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said the governor has rights over the common capital. Addressing a state-level TD meet here, Mr Naidu said the Telangana government was creating unnecessary controversies. He said that the TS government was trying to rule over AP MLAs and officials. The TD would not allow this, the CM added.
He said that the state government had requested the Centre to intervene as per the AP Reorganisation Act. He said that implementation of Section 8 and Schedules 9 and 10 had not been completed in the AP Reorganisation Act. The Telangana government was not allowing some electricity employees to work, he said, and added that the High Court had not been divided.
