On June 26, the tech start-up OnePlus launched the VR cardboard headsets. Unlike other Cardboards available in the market, the OnePlus Cardboard is made using a thicker, stronger cardboard material, along with high quality velcro for maximum durability. The optics of the Cardboard has been fine-tuned, which is designed to perfectly hug the OnePlus One. It also compatible with most devices up to 6-inch in size. Additionally, the Cardboard has been coated with a special film that repels dirt and oils, which helps to avoid the ‘forehead stains’.
Further, the next big thing is the launch of the OnePlus 2, which is scheduled for July 27. To make its launch different from the usual product launch in the smartphone industry, OnePlus will be unveiling the OnePlus 2 to the world completely in VR. Starting July 27 at 7:00pm PT, everyone around the world can stream the launch.
