Mumbai: A pet dog turned hero for the residents of a building in Borivali in Mumbai. The house received an unwelcome guest in a leopard that had strayed away from the adjoining Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
The entire video caught on CCTV cameras in the house showed a leopard slinking in the courtyard area of the house from the compound wall.

The leopard sniffs around and sees a pet dog in the house tied to a leash near the main gate. The leopard looks for ways to get in the house and paws at the locked gate.
The dog raises an alarm and starts barking furiously scaring away the leopard.
The leopard comes back again in some time and tries to paw in his way in the house. The gate proves itself to be a solid obstacle for the wild animal.
The dog sees the leopard again and begins barking furiously scaring the animal for good.
Leopards and other animals often venture out from the forest area to residential areas nearby, especially during the monsoons, in search of food.
Residents claim that they have filed complaints with forest authorities, but little has been done to address the situation.
