The shooting of Nalan Kumarasamy’s Eskimo Kadhal (tentative title) with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead has been on in the city, but the filmmakers have tried to keep details regarding the film under wraps. A couple of working stills featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian, its female lead, who is basking in the huge success of her Mollywood film Premam, are going viral.
It’s heard that the movie is a remake of a foreign flick, and the makers are planning to credit the original film. Soodhu Kavvum, made by the team of Nalan and Sethupathi, which did well critically and at the box office, was also inspired by a Korean film. But in that case, no movie was credited then. Tipped as a romantic film, this movie will be an entertainer and a completely different genre from Soodhu Kavvum.
