Warrangal : Two municipal officials arrested for graft
WARANGAL: ACB sleuths on Wednesday caught A. Bikshapathi, revenue inspector and T. Buchi Raju, bill collector of Circle III, Nakkalagutta of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 from K. Komariah, a retired Mandal Educational Officer of Waddepally.
The revenue inspector and the bill collector who visited Komuraiah’s home at Kanakadurga Colony for inspection, demanded Rs 20,000 for processing his application. With this, Komuraiah approached the ACB and filed a complaint against both the officials. Later, he informed the officials that he will pay an initial amount of Rs 8,000 to them and as planned both the officials were trapped while receiving the amount.
ACB DSP Sai Baba said the two accused officers are arrested and will be produced before the I Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases in Hyderabad.
