Iyappan pushed Shankar who hit the footpath suffering injuries

Chennai: A 30-year-old security guard at a restaurant on Jawaharlal Nehru 100 feet road, Ekkatuthangal, was murdered by his co-worker after an argument on Wednesday. Shankar of Nepal was working as a guard at Ganesh Bhavan restaurant and was staying there.
On Tuesday night, Shankar entered into an argument with Iyappan of Thanjavur, a van driver who also works in the same hotel.On Wednesday morning, Iyappan who brought cooked food from the restaurant’s kitchen sought Shankar’s help to unload the vessels, which led to the argument.
In the melee, Iyappan pushed Shankar who hit the footpath suffering injuries.Shankar was moved to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead. Guindy Police registered a case and arrested Iyappan.
