It’s two million for Superstar!

Superstar Rajinikanth joined Twitter last year, a few days before the release of his Kochadaiiyaan and made a record number of followers on day-one. Similar to his off screen image, the actor remained reclusive and tweeted only on rare occasions.

However, that hasn’t stopped tweeple from following him. His followers on Twitter have now crossed two million — a first for a south actor. Dhanush, Mahesh Babu, Sivakarthikeyan and Siddharth were on par with Superstar until recently, but the Lingaa star, who joined on Twitter much later, has now lapped these young actors in style.
