Salman Khan buys TV sets for families of Kashmir town
Mumbai: Salman Khan is known in the industry for his heart of gold. Not only does he have his own charitable organisation Being Human, he even goes out of his way to help out his fans. The actor recently extended his help to families of a town in Kashmir while he was working on his film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
According to reports, the actor purchased television sets for families that couldn’t afford them. Salman was shooting for a song at Pahalgam and was happy to see the locals so enthusiastic about the shoot. Many of them enjoy Bollywood films, but have no means to watch films as there aren’t any theatres there.
After meeting and interacting with the locals, Salman decided to get TV sets for those who couldn’t afford them. The actor’s team set up the television sets in a few homes already.
