Ranbir plays with fire in Ayan’s next

In director Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming fantasy film trilogy, his lucky mascot and actor Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing a superhero. The character, like all superheroes, will have a unique super power — the ability to emit fire from his hands.

Says a source, “The team brainstormed for a long time about the various powers that the character could possess and froze the fire concept since everybody seemed to approve of it.”

Amitabh Bachchan is supposed to have been approached for the project too, to play a pivotal role. Alia Bhatt will play the leading lady opposite Ranbir. The film is expected to go on the floors by February 2016 after RK finishes Karan Johar’s Aae Dil Hai Mushkil.
