Micromax has launched its new kid-friendly tablet - Canvas Tabby in the Indian market. It sports a 7-inch (1280x800 pixel) WSVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. This dual-SIM tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage. Additionally, you can also expand the storage capacity up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Canvas Tabby tablet features a 2MP rear shooter with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. Its 'Time manager' feature will allow parents to set a specific time frame for children to access content/online games. You can also set a specific time for language/ maths or other skill development apps.
You can even set two separate profiles for parents and children (up to three kids) in order to monitor your child's activity and get a summary on kid's skill development as well. It is fuelled by a 3,200mAh battery and will be available for Rs 6,499 on Flipkart.
