Watch: Akshay, Sidharth bond over Punjabi jokes and cricket on the sets of ‘Brothers’
Mumbai: 'Brothers' is all set to bring an international tournament to India at a massive scale you may have never witnessed before. It is not limited to punches, kick and elbow blows, wrestlers also engage in joint locks and also end up choking each other. However it is not tedious as it sounds, but the lead actors had one helluva of time shooting for the film.
Sidharth’s character is bitter and he shares a love-hate relationship with his father. He enters the tournament to prove hat he exists whereas Akshay's character David comes with a lot of thought-process. While performing the stunts, Akshay said, "Sidharth tried to make sure that he didn’t punch me in the face, he did succeed most of the times but I may have ended up getting few wounds because of this guy."
The two bonded on the sets because of their Punjabi connection, which made Jaqueline feel a bit out of place. They cracked a lot of Punjabi non-veg jokes, played cricket and experimenting with photography. Akshay signed off by saying, "The understanding between two brothers is sometimes more than blood."
