Samsung launches dust and waterproof IP68 smartphone

Samsung, the Korean tech giant, has launched the Galaxy S6 Active, a light, sleek and dust and water resistant smartphone. The new Android device will be available with AT&T for now and we could expect to see it launch in the other markets around the world soon enough.

The S6 Active has similar features as that of the Galaxy S6. It sports a 5.1-inch quad HD display with a 16MP rear camera. What makes this device exclusive is the exterior chassis—it features a rugged design with an IP68-rated body, built to withstand dust and water. The S6 Active also features a 3500mAh battery for longer life.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is available for $695 (Approx Rs 41,400)
